You see?
Such a lovely lad, he was… such warm feelings twixt ‘im and Eva.
It must have been so lonely for her to be sitting alone shut away all those years after he died. Poor little thing.
I -had- to post this… it is just so delicious and hey, man, even Greg Bishop liked it!

Well, It IS What He Did…

This is actually true, according to my limited knowledge of the official story.

And assuming for a moment that the story is true … that the dude did this, well, all I can say to that is that there exists a crying need for this activity to happen again.

And as soon as possible, too.

It has been said for years that money is the problem.

Even the very concept of it, as far as I’m concerned.

So anyway this image appeared on my facebook newsfeed today and I thought you might like it.

I Love This Guy

A hero this man is.

From the minute I first saw this, way back when it happened, I have loved this guy for doing what so many wish they could. I was appalled when they put him in jail while the war criminal got to write his memoir… Pfft.

Carl Jung – Face to Face [BBC – 1959]:

From brainpickings.org

I found this fascinating. On many levels. This man is awesome. I was actually quite impressed with the interviewer, too. They don’t make ’em like that anymore.

I often contemplate the nature of living things in their powerful desire to keep living at all costs insofar as that is the way it should be, as it were.

I think about it because a lot of the time I do not feel that feeling or force or whatever it is. It is troubling. And frequent.

I wish I could talk to this guy.

I no longer think my mind can be sorted, though. Like my eyes, it is far too late.

I may add more to this, we’ll see.

Peace.

As you can see, America is missing a few years, nevertheless, we have come pretty close to making the effort to be at war with someone perpetual. The authorities are working to make sure that there are no gaps in future.

Fantasmas en el Edén Hotel de La Falda www.prensadelcentro.com.ar

Wow, now this is cool… and unexpected, really…

This place has a fascinating history, even without any mention of ghosts. Built by Germans long before the war, it was as extremely advanced in it’s facilities and amenities as it was extreme in it’s remoteness. It had a fleet of Fords for the guests to use. It had an elevator. And it had a plastic surgery suite.

Yes, that’s right. A plastic surgery suite. In the middle of nowhere. La Palma in Cordoba is hundreds and hundreds of miles away from anything and everything. Takes a while to get there even today.

You see, this was a place primarily designed to assist the escaping high end Nazis of the future in their zest for reintegration into society, aided by a permanent disguise, as it were. The hotel has a watchtower. A very tall one. Yes. Doesn’t your hotel?

I had been aware that Einstein had stayed there along with many famous people. I was not aware of ghosts, though!

I had been getting into it because I have been looking pretty deeply into the Nazis being down there and this place was key… in fact the most notorious guests, of the Annex, a large, luxurious building located on the hotel campus, were none other than Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Hitler—from 1955 until his death in the mid 60s or 70s. They’d made a few visits previously to hang out with his good friends, the Eichorns who owned the place.

More about them later, hopefully, if I can budget time properly.

So, for now, let’s enjoy some ghosts!

Peace.

Whoa! This seems legit.

Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWznA3… to see a better lit view of the room.

This is a video of me as a little kid (3 years old), on my rocking horse. My dad left a camera on to catch who ever or whatever was playing with the rocking horse after many times of trying and finding nothing. Its a really old video we just recently got it converted to dvd so sorry for the horrible quality.

I found this today in a thread on ATS from 2009, someone had replied to it and I am glad they did!

Here is the original post:

Finally, I can share this video with everyone. It dates back to 1992 but just became digital as far as I know. For years, this recording of an apparent ghost riding my nephew’s rocking horse was misplaced and in a not so digital format.

When my nephew was young, his grandmother found an old rocking horse at a garage sale in Colorado and sent it to him. Late at night, his mother and father would hear the rocking horse squeaking. In an attempt to “catch” their young son sneaking into the room and riding his rocking horse they set up a video camera. The camera captured something else at play as you will see.

I also find it interesting that my nephew asks his father, “Who’s that” when he is riding the horse before leaving the room. The “other” rocking horse rider begins about 2:14 into the video or so. This video has long been a topic of conversation around campfires when the ghost stories come out. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. I think it’s amazing…..

I am leaning toward this being real. I’ve been bitten before by this sort of video but I am going to risk it again with this one.

There are a lot of replies pushing the string/fishing line theory, but I have to go with the impression that strings attached and then pulled wouldn’t work as shown. I could be wrong, surely, but… it looks real. I also do not think that either poster would fake it although admittedly that is an emotional reaction.

Fascinating!

Peace.

3 Missing 411 interviews in one, David Paulides at his best!

Hopefully this will work. Video-wise I mean. That URL tho.

Didn’t! – fixed it. Silly app.

Mr Paulides is currently one of my favorite Forteans since he does not mix any woo into the story, which, really, is the way it should be.

This is the Whitley Strieber Dreamland show, well three in a row hence the title. I find this topic fascinating and I am always riveted no matter what length it is.
I have not been able to acquire the books yet but it is desired mucho.
You will not be disappointed in this one and Whitley gives some great questions.

Something profoundly strange is happening and it is proving to be frightening on many levels.

Enjoy and Peace.

You might know of this—I think I’d read the headline and noted it but those neurons were inactive since so it was akin to forgetting.

vatican library logo And it’s true, Just visit the site of the Vatican Apostolic Library and you will be able to browse the over 4,400 ancient texts and manuscripts. The library claims to hold 82,000 documents and it is a real pleasure knowing that they intend to do them all!

The library had its Grand Opening in 1451AD, so it is posited that they are not lacking in experience.

From an article by Michael Kozlowski, we read:

The Vatican Apostolic Library is now digitizing its valuable ancient religious manuscripts and putting them online via its website. All of the content is available for free.

The Library was originally founded in 1451 AD and holds over 80,000 manuscripts, prints, drawings, plates and books printed prior to 1500 AD. The titles are all written throughout history by people who had different faiths or religions, from all over the world.

Not only are paintings, religious iconography and books being published online, but also letters by from important historical figures, drawings and notes by artists and scientists such as Michelangelo and Galileo, as well as treaties from all eras in history.

I hope they finish it. They seek donations, which is alright, I guess but they are in fact one of thte major holders of wealth on the planet so in a sense it is, I dont know, less alright, perhaps. Anyway I hope it gets done. They estimate fifteen years, which is reasonable.

I told myself and therapist #2 that I was going to do a nice blog post today on the PC as I am not at band and have all day and the desktop WordPress is worlds better than this stupid app.. Well, I have till 5 anyway.

So I started pretty early… It is now 6 minutes to 2 and the damn PC only just loaded the page. Over 2 hours. I am so stressed out I can hardly scream or cry though those reactions might help.

I am thinking that it is the prehistoric PC that I am stuck with. XP, Pentium 4 2.8 – really old like over 10 years. It was nice back then and it’s outlived the custom handmade BOXX workstation, but it is just so frustrating… All that time wasted and time is not very available without compromising my aunt’s care which I just won’t do.

So I gave up with it and am writing this on the very limited android app. So I am so sorry readers, but imagery and suchlike will be uncommon treats which upsets me as I love doing that for myself as well as for you.

Dammit.

I think in the second to last post, a simple YT video with a paragraph took about 45 minutes and that was “good.”

Basically I have been trying these days to see the good in life and try to convince myself that I should not snuff it when my aunt goes home. There are quite a few folks trying to get me to see as well. Some rare friends on Facebook, the hospice coordinator and care volunteer and the hospice chaplain as well as the home care aide who comes over every day.

Forty five years of depression and bad experiences limit the ability to see any good things… I have never been happy, for example, I just do not know what that means. I can not relate when people tell me I should be so.

For the past few weeks now I have been trying hard to get my thoughts going in the direction most say they should go… towards a positive attitude regarding the future and what it might bring. It is slow going, to be sure as I have convinced myself over the decades that nothing good would or even could happen to me, if only because it never had. That of course is not counting the handful of real friends I have, who I treasure and love deeply. There have been so many more false people who did their level best to hurt me and always succeeded.

I believe I can change that standard line of self destructive thinking and replace it with positivity, but it is going to take some effort. I am grateful for my strengths… people are always saying that they can’t fathom how I do what I have done these past few years. That must be a positive thing I think. So, yeah, dammit I am going to do it.

Maybe I won’t have to die alone, even.

That’d be nice, but, breath holding is not advised.

I don’t know… hopefully it will all work out… I am pretty much convinced though that I will be starting anew with not a dime once the state and the feds get through sucking the life out of what’s left.

Anyway, peace and I thank you for still being there.

Peace.

Hoping that this post off my tumblr timeline includes the gifs, as they are, pretty much, the post. I think that they are very well thought out and executed.

This bokku-chan fellow is a great artist and pretty hip in my humble opinion. If you’re on tumblr follow along.

Should you be so inclined I have two tumblrs, cool cars (jaded, as you might expect) at misterfibuli, and everything else mrfibulisfortfinds (even more jaded!).

Spending a lot of time thereabouts lately as I am usually at my aunt’s side in this hospice chapter and it is too easy on this moderately-smart phone.

So… onwards…

I like yowies. Really. Don’t know why—they just trigger some level of  excitement.

And for some reason the place where this post’s featured encounter happened, the Pilliga Scrub, does the same! Odd, I know. It’s the only location I know of where fighting union workers called a truce and worked together to get the word out to help folks avoid dirt naps.

Perhaps growing up where and when I did is the reason that action and reaction hold so much power in my mind. Seriously. That says it all for me and I am old, crusty and jaded.

This report is long but paced so that it doesn’t matter. Choc-a-bloc with details, enthusiasm and great visuals from the story being told.

The video comes as well from a group I have so far found to be true and proper in their integrity and goals.

Anyway, enjoy and,

Peace.

This is a song that I grew up with… it’s in me, as it were. It was aired on the fabulous WFUV the other day and it rekindled a lot of memories.

I think it’s fabulous and I hope you do, too.

It’s been over a month, I noticed. I am sorry.

Duties, depression and not insignificantly the wretched “performance” of the Verizon FiOS fiber optic connection, which on many (read: most) days is, I swear to God, SLOWER than the old dial up modems. Really. Not kidding. Verizon sucks, to put it as politely as possible and it makes it a stressful chore to even reply to an email.

I’ve spent FORTY FIVE minutes on this post already.

My entire tech world is crumbling around me and I am going blind. I am not a happy man. I have never been a happy man.

I keep trying though. Starting this week I’ll have two therapies a week, with two different people. It might work and I hope it does but coming up fast on 60 years of total failure has drained a heck of a lot of will out of me and very nearly 100% of my motivation. To do anything. Literally.

What I want to see is a return to my old posting frequency and the turning of all the stuff I read online into grist for your mill.

Wish me luck.

Peace.

Sorry to be absent so long… things are increasingly strange ‘round these parts. Last week my alternate therapist gave me a homework assignment to write a paragraph or two on a topic of my choosing. I thought many thoughts and decided to write a little on thoughts about dreams. Wrote it yesterday while one of the aides was seeing to my lieges needs. She read it today and pronounced it good and to her one line was even deemed “powerful.” Gosh! So I thought I’d share.

Here goes…

Oh dear… a brief one is needed… on what, though? I don’t know. Ah! Dreams…

Last night, or was it this morning, I was thinking about dreams. What are they? Who are the people in them? Most seem to believe that the people in our dreams are those we have seen while awake, even if they are total strangers, because the subconscious records and stashes away literally everything that happens to us. It might be true, that. It might not.

I have heard that dreams are our mind trying to sort things out. I remember reading that Einstein’s Big Idea had come to him in a dream. That phrase “… it came to me in a dream,” is ubiquitous. And for the Aborigines of Australia, well, they have their Dreamtime, a major chunk of their past when things were apparently quite different.

But, as in most things, no one really knows. That’s good in a way, as it makes us think so that we will hopefully be able to sort it out someday.

I only remember my dreams for a few minutes at best. I find that unfortunate, as some of them are pretty good. There have been a few cases where I will remember a few seconds of a dream long term, but it is exceedingly rare. The only one I can think of as I write this involved a person I do know saying something I knew to be true but was in denial about. That certainly reinforces the dreams are about things that concern us camp. That said, there are a lot of camps.

Some dreams seem to have nothing to do with the waking world and are more of an adventure into the unknown. Odd, these dreams.

I like it when I can go back to sleep after my bi-hourly nature wake up, pick up on a dream and continue on with it. I think that that is pretty darn cool and raises even more questions as to just what dreams really are.

I did note that there was a long period wherein I had not dreamt at all, but, upon cessation of smoking cigarettes, I once again could experience dreams. That was a wonderful side effect of quitting. I highly recommend it. Especially if life is not so good… dreams are something to look forward to, even if they remain unremembered.

Years ago, many of them, I think I had at least one or perhaps two of those ‘vivid’ dreams… dreams wherein you know that you’re dreaming and can control what happens in the story line. I would like that to happen again. I would like that very much.

Due to my affinity for things of an inexplicable nature, I am sometimes of the opinion that dreams are a look into other dimensions or alternate universes. I like that idea, find it rather exciting, in fact and find nothing that says it cannot be. There are such places, after all and things like psychedelics can let the mind access them… perhaps in dreams the mind can do it unaided. I note that I never see any “cool stuff,” though, so perhaps there are a multitude of destinations where we can wind up.

I would probably want to stay there.

Ah well… food for thought, things to ponder, eh, what?

Peace.

And there you have it.

Hope you enjoyed it!

Oh dear. When I went upstairs this morning, the PC was in a terrible state. I tried to get her going a few times for a half hour or so, then resigned myself to the fact that it’s now officially dead.

Not sure just what that means, really, but things will be a lot different. I am in a worry state in regards to work.

Oh dear.

I just got WordPress on my new Android phone, but it looks a bit limited. Maybe not… Will need to explore more.

Peace.
