Interesting Old Things
This is a sort of reproduction (as much as WordPress can do) of the Fortean gallery that once lived in the depths of my company website… which was prettier. But it’s all really old stuff, hence the title… new stuff? I’ll likely make some more pages as time goes on, but that’s what the blog part’s for, right?
Here are some things that I have found interesting…
What? Trees?
On
Mars?
Alright then, how about fossil lifeforms?
The de Loys ape,
discovered in
South America not all that long ago. Click the pic to see the rarely shown full image.
A man-made uav, no doubt a military drone.
Here is a very interesting
video clip from NASA Shuttle mission STS-80. (1.06MB, .mov)
Filmed from Apollo 16 as they were leaving the Moon.
Download the film here (1MB, .mov)
Isn’t it nice that this is the banner one is treated to on a visit to the Blogger Mobile overview page. Must be a good company. :)
More trees?
Nope, same ones. ;)
The Discoverer, one Graham Orme.
Original

This is supposed to be airbag material from the Mars Rover’s lander.
A very strange skull examined in detail by Robert Connolly. There are even weirder ones out there.
