Senator,

Israel is not our friend. Quite the opposite. I strongly believe that 100%
of US aid to them should be stopped. I would support military action to
remove them from the illegal settlements.
Why do you support apartheid? It wasn’t alright in South Africa, why is it
okay for Israel to do it? We give them so much money, just because they
demand it. Do you actually think any of the aid you spoke of gets to the
Palestinians? If you do then you are at best a dupe. Why do you support
genocide, Senator?
Additionally I feel that all US politicians who are dual citizens must be
removed from office and disqualified.
Thanks and remember the USS Liberty.

Would You Eat at Arby’s to Stand up to Bully Cops?

Dan Sanchez
September 3, 2015

(ANTIMEDIA) Pembroke Pines, FL — Police Sergeant Jennifer Martin rolled up to an Arby’s drive-thru Monday night, presumably hungry after a long day of menacing peaceful people with extortion threats.

Unfortunately for her dinner plans, she encountered at the window a young man whose moral sense and powers of observation somehow survived his American childhood intact. Much to her indignant surprise, instead of being offered the usual complimentary side order of “thank you for your service,” she herself was refused service by the 19-year-old clerk.

After being addressed curtly while placing her order, the salivating sergeant drove up to the pick-up window where she was informed by the manager that the clerk, “doesn’t want to serve you because you are a police officer.” Admirably, the manager even added that the young man had a right not to.

Shortly thereafter, Sergeant Martin returned on foot, demanding a refund over concern for the food’s safety — perhaps projecting her own profession’s standards and presuming that cop critics must be as willing to contaminate food as cops are to contaminate evidence. She petulantly collected the manager’s information for tattling purposes, along with her money. Meanwhile, the clerk continued to refuse to speak to her.

The Arby’s CEO later called Martin’s chief to apologize, and the company promised to “…be sure that our policy of inclusion is understood and adhered to.

Of course, for the local police unions, this is not nearly enough groveling and punishment for such an egregious act of lèse-majesté. One union official shamelessly referencedthe fatal attacks on the men and women in uniform in America” and the president’s lack of leadership while simpering about the roast-beef-related incident.

He insisted that it “…warrants much more than an apology. […] Until corrective action is taken and the employees involved in this incident are terminated, we are calling for a national boycott of Arby’s.”

Wouldn’t it be something if this call had the same opposite effect as the 2012 attempt to boycott Chik-fil-A? What if supporters of the brave young drive-thru clerk flocked to Arby’s, driving up record sales to make a statement? That would certainly amplify his act of protest, and foil yet another attempt by police unions to bully and silence critics.

Call it #SandwichSolidarity. When police accountability activists risk their jobs — and worse, incur the indignation of vindictive cops — surely eating a few times at Arby’s is not toomuch a sacrifice to provide one of them with support.

Well, I had never seen anything like this before but now I have and now you’re seeing it, too. And that’s good because it begs the question of why and it’s great food for our historical thoughts.

As you can see, America is missing a few years, nevertheless, we have come pretty close to making the effort to be at war with someone perpetual. The authorities are working to make sure that there are no gaps in future.

Fantasmas en el Edén Hotel de La Falda www.prensadelcentro.com.ar

Wow, now this is cool… and unexpected, really…

This place has a fascinating history, even without any mention of ghosts. Built by Germans long before the war, it was as extremely advanced in it’s facilities and amenities as it was extreme in it’s remoteness. It had a fleet of Fords for the guests to use. It had an elevator. And it had a plastic surgery suite.

Yes, that’s right. A plastic surgery suite. In the middle of nowhere. La Palma in Cordoba is hundreds and hundreds of miles away from anything and everything. Takes a while to get there even today.

You see, this was a place primarily designed to assist the escaping high end Nazis of the future in their zest for reintegration into society, aided by a permanent disguise, as it were. The hotel has a watchtower. A very tall one. Yes. Doesn’t your hotel?

I had been aware that Einstein had stayed there along with many famous people. I was not aware of ghosts, though!

I had been getting into it because I have been looking pretty deeply into the Nazis being down there and this place was key… in fact the most notorious guests, of the Annex, a large, luxurious building located on the hotel campus, were none other than Mr. and Mrs. Adolf Hitler—from 1955 until his death in the mid 60s or 70s. They’d made a few visits previously to hang out with his good friends, the Eichorns who owned the place.

More about them later, hopefully, if I can budget time properly.

So, for now, let’s enjoy some ghosts!

Peace.

I told myself and therapist #2 that I was going to do a nice blog post today on the PC as I am not at band and have all day and the desktop WordPress is worlds better than this stupid app.. Well, I have till 5 anyway.

So I started pretty early… It is now 6 minutes to 2 and the damn PC only just loaded the page. Over 2 hours. I am so stressed out I can hardly scream or cry though those reactions might help.

I am thinking that it is the prehistoric PC that I am stuck with. XP, Pentium 4 2.8 – really old like over 10 years. It was nice back then and it’s outlived the custom handmade BOXX workstation, but it is just so frustrating… All that time wasted and time is not very available without compromising my aunt’s care which I just won’t do.

So I gave up with it and am writing this on the very limited android app. So I am so sorry readers, but imagery and suchlike will be uncommon treats which upsets me as I love doing that for myself as well as for you.

Dammit.

I think in the second to last post, a simple YT video with a paragraph took about 45 minutes and that was “good.”

Basically I have been trying these days to see the good in life and try to convince myself that I should not snuff it when my aunt goes home. There are quite a few folks trying to get me to see as well. Some rare friends on Facebook, the hospice coordinator and care volunteer and the hospice chaplain as well as the home care aide who comes over every day.

Forty five years of depression and bad experiences limit the ability to see any good things… I have never been happy, for example, I just do not know what that means. I can not relate when people tell me I should be so.

For the past few weeks now I have been trying hard to get my thoughts going in the direction most say they should go… towards a positive attitude regarding the future and what it might bring. It is slow going, to be sure as I have convinced myself over the decades that nothing good would or even could happen to me, if only because it never had. That of course is not counting the handful of real friends I have, who I treasure and love deeply. There have been so many more false people who did their level best to hurt me and always succeeded.

I believe I can change that standard line of self destructive thinking and replace it with positivity, but it is going to take some effort. I am grateful for my strengths… people are always saying that they can’t fathom how I do what I have done these past few years. That must be a positive thing I think. So, yeah, dammit I am going to do it.

Maybe I won’t have to die alone, even.

That’d be nice, but, breath holding is not advised.

I don’t know… hopefully it will all work out… I am pretty much convinced though that I will be starting anew with not a dime once the state and the feds get through sucking the life out of what’s left.

Anyway, peace and I thank you for still being there.

Peace.

I have always loved Chinese food. I think it rocks, especially the stuff that’s only on the menu in deepest Chinatown, in those restaurants for the locals where you have to go downstairs to get in. I’ve so far not been lucky enough to go to China for the “real deal,” but after learning what lies below these words… I would now likely dine exclusively in the hotel’s eatery or in a private home…

Via Business Insider:

The next time you consider eating Chinese street food you might think twice.

The use of gutter oil it turns out is pretty common. This refers to a process of pulling waste oil from sewers, grease traps, waste from slaughterhouses, reprocessing it and then selling it as cooking oil.

RFAVideo Published on May 2, 2013

Most of China’s ‘gutter oil’ winds up in cheap restaurants and among street food vendors.

Gregory Taylor Published on May 29, 2013

Gutter oil is illicit cooking oil which has been recycled from waste oil collected from sources such as restaurant fryers, drains, grease traps and slaughterhouse waste. Reprocessing is often very rudimentary; techniques include filtration, boiling, refining and the removal of adulterants.

Gutter oil has been shown to be very toxic, able to cause diarrhea and abdominal pain. There are also reports that long-term consumption of the oil can lead to stomach and liver cancer as well as developmental disabilities in newborns and children.

Oh, Gawd!

In early October of 2013 a Chinese man was sent to prison for life for making gutter oil, as that is the official penalty, (lenient version!), but still the practice continues. There is simply too much of it going on to keep up, I suppose.

Greed rules, you see, especially, it seems, in China.

In the ATS thread that alerted me to this, member crackerjack replied:

I’ve been living in China for 7 years and you would be AMAZED at how many cheap, hole in the wall restaurants use this stuff.
One thing you gotta understand about China is that it’s PROFIT FIRST, safety last, most people don’t care as long as there’s a profit in it, they have no morals to whom they might be harming, just think of their own wallet. Also the people who do eat this stuff eat for the sole reason that it’s CHEAP.

My family has always ate at home because of the food safety concerns here.

Whoa.. confirmation!

Well, now, keep an eye out, folks!

Peace.

Nicely done. Very nicely. It really draws you in and holds you. You will be gob-smacked at the amount of information presented herein. It is probably the most comprehensive review of the situation that I have ever seen. It does not go into the specifics of what happened on the day – and that is a good thing. What it does is review the history of what took place before the event – and links them all together. And the depth of that history is going to surprise you. The history revealed goes back as far as the late 50s and links to many events of the past, even the JFK assassination. It’s all connected. Connections, connections, connections. Indeed. The only thing I find odd is that the connection to a certain Middle Eastern “ally” is not mentioned at all. A bit disappointing, for on that day that whole rabbit hole opened up in stark horror. But, you know, “[They] were only there to document the event.” I would have really liked to see those connections included. Overall, I find this most excellent. If you watch it you will gain knowledge that few have. An amazing amount of research went into this; and it is all fact checkable. Enjoy. Peace

Indeed it does.

Actually, I have been scammed. I am sorry and apologize to you all.

See here:

this picture quite clearly shows the same building and its quite obliviously in front of WTC-2 and not behind like the video claims its to be.

And that kind of explains that then.

But after years of personal research, diving deep into countless bottomless rabbit holes, being cast as a nutter, (by friends, even), and the subsequent frustration and angst, I have come to the conclusion that the majority of my countrymen either don’t care in the slightest what the the truth really is, or, are simply as thick as a plank.

I don’t understand that at all. I really don’t.

As a result I stopped posting about 9/11. I felt I should this year for some reason.

Maybe it is because the perps are still around, exempt from prosecution and living the high life. Maybe it is because their successors are amplifying what they set in motion on a daily basis and doing whatever they please, regardless of illegality or lack of morals.

Something like that.

Some are still trying, though and that is heartening.

I got the image shown below in an email from www.ReThink911.org about their Times Square billboard and campaign. It is said that 2/3 of the people are unaware of Building 7. I asked a professional person in psychiatrics if she knew once not long ago. She did not.

I just hope the truth comes fully to light before the people who did it are all dead.

THAT would be honoring those who lost their lives.

Rod Serling! WoOt!

I love Rod Serling. His awesome imagination and exceptional creativity played a very large part in shaping my mind. For that I am grateful to him. The Twilight Zone… Rocks!

And here he is… narrating this rather well done UFO documentary, infusing it with his inimitable style. Not only that, it also features Dr. Jacques Vallee; and two other very nice people, Mr. José Ferrer and… Mr. Burgess Meredith! Whee! How cool is that?

The film was originally released in 1974 as UFOs: Past, Present and Future with Rod narrating. It won a Golden Globe Award. This is the updated version released in 1979 with the new title. I do not know what the ‘update’ consisted of, however, as I have not seen it. Hadn’t seen this one before, either, actually, until last night via a thread by Karl 12.

The film was produced by Allan F. Sandler, directed by Ray Rivas and written by well known UFO researcher Robert Emenegger, who also composed the musical score.

There is a treasure trove of rarely, if ever, seen historical footage and interviews with some significant individuals and witnesses. It is long, but if you have an interest in this subject it is decidedly worth the watch.

It is said that there was US Government co-operation in the production of this film… and that claim is evidenced by the inclusion of interesting interview footage filmed inside the Pentagon. That interview is with Colonel Bill Coleman, Chief of Public Information for the US Air Force from 1969 to 1974.

Well, now. I have heard as may you have, too, of cases where official help is offered as a lure of some sort, perhaps and then reneged on. It may just be that the reneging was not fully implemented in the case of Mr. Emenegger.

From this fine page at Ron Schmidt’s Pegasus Research Consortium site, we note this, quoted thereon, from here

The Holloman AFB UFO landing event was featured in Robert Emenegger’s/Alan Sandler’s 1974 documentary ‘UFO’s: Past, Present and Future’, and in an updated 1979 version ‘UFOs: It Has Begun’. These documentaries were both narrated by Rod Serling. Towards the end of the documentary, a ‘what if’ scenario was presented to the viewer about a landing that could happen in the future, or perhaps already could have happened…

“Let us look at an incident that might happen in the future, or perhaps could have happened already. The premise is that contact is made by extraterrestrial beings with representatives of the United States Air Force at Holloman Air Force Base in the deserts of New Mexico.”

Rod Serling goes on to narrate the Holloman landing event which consisted of illustrations of the landing and the aliens meeting Air Force officials. These illustrations were inter-cut with actual footage from the base. At one point in the re-enactment there is footage of a strange white-yellowish object descending towards the base, with the mountains in the background (some people have suggested it is part of the authentic UFO landing tape that slipped though).

From a 2005 pdf file by Steve Johnson giving a blow-by-blow description of the film we read this…

It is said that the producers of the film were promised unprecedented cooperation from the US military, and the inclusion of many military reports and interviews seems to confirm that suggestion. It is also said that actual footage from a real incident at Holloman AFB would be provided to them and that this would be used as the startling finale to the programme. Unfortunately, it seems the authorities got cold feet and we ended up with some hastily-prepared footage and artwork. But was it all a fiction? During the segment, we are shown a bright light descending towards the desert. Is this a real UFO, or just an out-of-focus aircraft coming in to land?

Why are specific names used, exact times and usage of precise amounts of film? What is the King One area at Holloman AFB? Apparently, in the novelisation of the film, the King One area is described as being on Mars Street in Building 930. I have been unable as yet to find a plan of the AFB with Mars Street or Building 930 noted.

And from an article (in pdf) called A History of Government Management of UFO Perceptions through Film and Television, we read…

There was more comprehensive, high-level cooperation from the DoD for the production of one particularly unusual film, though – the documentary, UFOs: Past, Present and Future (1974), which considered the extra-terrestrial hypothesis in a much more serious light. The film’s director, Robert Emenegger, was given unprecedented access to DoD facilities, including the highly sensitive Holloman Air Force Base and the Pentagon itself. “The Secretary of the Air Force [Robert Seamans] gave the order to co-operate,” explained the director, who was granted time with highranking military officers apparently well-versed in UFO-related matters, among them Colonel William Coleman, a former spokesman for Project Blue Book, and Colonel George Weinbrenner, then head of Foreign Technology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

The film even included a detailed reconstruction of what Emenegger claims the USAF told him was a real extraterrestrial landing at Holloman Air Force Base in 1971, complete with artistic renderings of the alleged aliens.

The USAF even provided Emenegger with a few seconds of footage showing what appeared to be an unusual, bright object descending slowly and vertically over the base. These frames, Emenegger claims, were taken from the “genuine” alien landing footage and officially authorised for use in his completed documentary, which, in line with a 49th Parallel, Vol. 25 (Spring 2011) Graham & Alford ISSN: 1753-5794 (online) 14 recommendation by the USAF, presented the incident as “one that might happen in the future – or perhaps could have happened already.”74 Emenegger claims that he was approached by the USAF to initiate this project, which would be in line with his scholarly interest in propaganda, his history as a Vice President at Grey Advertising, and his personal involvement in the Nixon Campaign to Re-Elect the President (CREEP).75 The film also received support from the Army, the Navy and NASA, with the latter furnishing Emenegger’s production with previously unreleased photographs of what appeared to be UFOs taken in space by Gemini astronauts..

Fascinating!

Seems legit, too, at least to this tired mind.

Oh, by the way, here is Angelia Joiner’s Interview with Robert Emenegger at the 2008 X-Conference.

I dunno… I love this stuff. Maybe someday I’ll even go so far as to write up my own sightings…

Anyway, enjoy!

Abe and JFK

Have a history teacher explain this if they can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.

John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost a child while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln’s secretary was named Kennedy.

Kennedy’s Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.

Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named “Ford.”

Kennedy was shot in a car called “Lincoln” made by “Ford.”

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here’s the “kicker”:

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.

A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

AND……………….:

Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse…

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater… ___________________________ I saw this had to share just in case anyone did not know.

Yep, mighty interesting. Better include that I am not in any way, as you’ll find if you look around this site, a subscriber to the notion that Lee Harvey Oswald was culpable in this situation. That is for another thread.

Alrighty, then, to close, let us not forget the message that was not included above and yet of extreme importance, a message graphically portrayed in this image from down there in the footer…

Published on Dec 5, 2012 NOTE: This video has apparently been removed from all web sources. Sorry.

Documentary on the secretive existence inside North Korea. This video has been uploaded to YouTube for research and educational purposes.

I haven’t done a North Korea post in a while. Regulars will be aware of my deep loathing of the place. It is freakish, bizarre and unbelievably cruel. Hundreds of thousands of it’s citizens live in concentration camps.

Yes, real live concentration camps that’d make the SS blush, and if they looked real close, throw up. There they produce much of the country’s goods, food and mining wealth. None of which the population at large gets to enjoy.

This is a good documentary. It features lots of raw footage smuggled out of the country by some seriously brave people. Some of whom smuggle material from the outside world back in, which is arguably even more brave.

But it is a most noble gesture, as the populace is gradually becoming aware that there is a world outside their border. And that that world is the good one. North Koreans as a rule are not allowed access to the outside. If caught… you’re in one of those concentration camps along with three generations of your family. Usually for life.

Of course only the lucky ones get to see the DVDs and tapes smuggled in, as electricity is an exceptionally rare thing in North Korea. But they see it… and they will whisper it to their friends. And that is good.

Now while it is true that Kim Jong Il is dead and there is a new leader, the Western-educated Kim Jong-un, in command, there has been no evidence whatsoever that there has been any improvement at all in any of of the conditions that you will view in this film. I would dare venture that things have actually gotten worse for the people since this film was made.

That is so sad.

Pray for the people.

Peace.

Thank you for at least trying, Mr. Durbin.

I do not think the proposition will be successful due to the experience of living as long as I have, but there is a tiny smidgeon of hope to it all if it is perceived a vote-getter. The problem itself will come crashing down to bedrock at some point that’s probably not so far off.

It won’t help my personal situation, naturally, way too late for that…I am well and truly trapped…  but it would help countless millions of kids who will otherwise leave the starting gate pre-sentenced to live a very unpleasant life.

In my opinion it falls far short of the real need in that it only covers private loans.

There should be NO discrimination. Right? But Mr. Durbin must, I suppose, being one of them after all, protect the government at all costs. Regardless of said government being a several orders of magnitude greater threat than the private crooks.

Even so, it is a refreshing thing to see.

A friend passed along a great link, but as so few click on anything here I thought it best to get the word out by just reposting the darn thing below with all due credits and thanks.

Democratic Senator Compares Private Student Loans To Dickens-Era Of Debt Prisons

By Travis Waldron on Dec 14, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Charles DickensThe inability of Americans to discharge student loan debt in bankruptcy proceedings creates a system of indebtedness like the one that existed during the era of Charles Dickens, when people who couldn’t afford to pay their debts were routinely tossed into prisons, a top Democratic senator declared this week.

Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin (D) has introduced legislation that would make it easier to discharge private student debt in bankruptcy proceedings, much as people are able to do with debt from mortgages, credit cards, and other loans. But even as Americans are collectively swimming in nearly a trillion dollars of student debt — $150 billion of which is owed to private lenders — the legislation has gone nowhere, leaving them crushed by debt they often can’t repay, Durbin said:

How can it be that the deck is so stacked against students who borrowed to go through school? How can “certainty of hopelessness” be the standard for borrowers to obtain any relief in bankruptcy court. This harkens back to the debtors prisons of Europe and England. Charles Dickens would have a ball with this standard.

Congress needs to address this issue. Right now there is $150 billion in outstanding private student loan debt that is crushing many borrowers -– $150 billion. I have a bill, the Fairness for Struggling Students Act, that would once again permit private student loans to be discharged in bankruptcy as they were before 2005. Mark my words, there is no good reason why private student loans should be treated differently in bankruptcy from any other type of private unsecured debt.

Nearly every other type of debt is easily discharged in bankruptcy, but student loan debt, particularly that which is acquired through private lenders and for-profit colleges, is not, even as the total amount of student debt held by Americans has ballooned in recent decades. Undoing those restrictions as Durbin suggests would do away with what The Roosevelt Institute’s Mike Konczal called “a giant subsidy to private agents” who lend to students.

The growth in debt has had severe effects on the nation’s economy, and those effects could pose an even bigger risk in the future. The growth in student debt has held back the housing recovery since the Great Recession, and a growing number of America’s elderly are being crushed by debt they took on to help family members attend college. The securitization of student loans by big banks has made it possible that loans could be the next “debt bomb” facing the economy, similar in structure (if not in size) to the mortgage bubble that burst before the recession.

Given that 80 percent of bankruptcy lawyers have reported a “substantial increase” in clients struggling with student debt, Durbin’s legislation to undo bankruptcy restrictions could reduce the threat posed by the growing mass of student debt Americans hold. (HT: Kay Steiger)

It is an awful, awful world we live in.

Seriously.

A classic if ever there was one.

As for the video, it seems like the SLA panel’s still there, but there is other movement by something in apparent close proximity.

Actually, though, it isn’t exactly clear if the footage shown corresponds to the observation given or if it is being used to illustrate the point.

Either way, I like it.

And now… Westall ’66: A Suburban UFO Mystery:

Uploaded by  on Apr 18, 2011

At approximately 11.00 am on Wednesday, 6 April 1966, a class of students and a teacher from Westall High School (now Westall Secondary College) were just completing sports on the main oval when an object, described as being a grey saucer shaped craft with a slight purple hue and being about twice the size of a family car, was alleged to have been seen.

Witness descriptions were mixed: Andrew Greenwood, a science teacher, told The Dandenong Journal at the time that he saw a silvery-green disc. According to witnesses the object was descending and then crossed and overflew the high school’s south-west corner, going in a south-easterly direction, before disappearing from sight as it descended behind a stand of trees and into a paddock at The Grange in front of the Westall State School (primary students). After a short period (approximately 20 minutes) the object – with witnesses now numbering over 200 – then climbed at speed and departed towards the north-west. As the object gained altitude some accounts describe it as having been pursued from the scene by five unidentified aircraft which circled the object.

This might be the best UFO documentary I have ever seen.

Why? It’s different. It’s not sensational. Just the facts… dogged perseverance in getting answers and asking questions… lots and lots of nice, juicy questions.

The production values are very high. It took three years to make and has great cinematography. A very nicely executed animation runs intermingled throughout. Tons of research and witness interviews and it even features the work of UFOlogical heavyweight Dr. James E. McDonald, who looked into this case way back when. Nice.

If your computer has Apple’s Quicktime plug in installed, you may (or may not) be able to see the black and white charcoal drawings and animation that are within the film in their own clip at artist Lee Whitmore’s page. YMMV.

The film’s not perfect, though. When I first heard one of the witnesses relaying her story of a girl named Tanya being never seen or heard of again I was intrigued and waiting to see what was dug up, but the matter just didn’t reappear. This seemed uncharacteristic of the perceived attitude of the researcher. Wonder what happened with that. Seems to add a bit of intrigue for fueling the imagination into conjuring things up, but we don’t really know if there is any real significance to that particular piece of the puzzle at all.

The event itself is absolutely fascinating. There’s so much to it!

Military people showed up in twenty minutes flat. That’s telling. The video explains how this is a bit unlikely due to the lack of proximity of area military hangouts. To me it says they knew all about it and were following it around. The uniforms described would seem to indicate that a few of these guys were employed by American services. Whoever they were, they weren’t very nice. The only known photos of this exotic hardware were confiscated on the spot. A teacher had been taking a whole load of shots with her camera… and they took the lot… along with the camera itself. I’ve had the authorities steal my personal property right of my hands, too, with a smug little smile, so I can relate  to that bit.

Westall is quite a sad tale in human terms, a result of the fierce suppression of the kids in being forced to not talk and being told in no uncertain terms that they were all nuts and that they simply didn’t see what they had seen. Detentions were given, interrogations by creepy government suits skilled in mental cruelty, all manner of real bull#&!t – inflicting a lot of long-lasting and very unnecessary emotional and societal pain and confusion. Everybody else was suppressed, too, but most of the witnesses here were school children. Gets the blood boiling.

The saucers themselves (I like calling them saucers. Sounds good.) seem like a pretty sporty model. Sleek, compact and very maneuverable, not to mention their harboring no naughty side effects for any hominin who happen to get near.

Could these things have been ours? Maybe, I suppose, stealth planes were designed and current back then, but these units do seem to be a bit beyond that level of development, so maybe not…

The soldiers stamping out whatever one of these things left behind in the farmer’s field seems to indicate some serious concern on their part, which is also telling. Of what I’m not sure, though.

So what exactly was that nasty little thing left so nicely placed at the center of that mini crop circle, guys, hmmm?

Probe? Triffid seed? Hmmm? What? Didn’t catch that, sorry…

Anyway, I better get this show on the road or it’ll be next year, so, to close and peak your interest further, here’s a nice drawing of the two of them as they were described by the witness known as “V.” Yes, two of them were seen by some, up close and personal!

Westall, drawing of two ufos as seen by "V."

And here’s a Westall UFO as drawn by “V.”

Summary: There exists today a world-wide phenomenon… indeed if it were not world-wide I should not be addressing you and these representatives from many parts of the world. There exists a global phenomenon the scope and extent of which is not generally recognized. It is a phenomenon so strange and foreign to our daily terrestrial mode of thought that it is frequently met by ridicule and derision by persons and organizations unacquainted with the facts. Yet, the phenomenon persists; it has not faded away as many of us expected it would when, years ago, we regarded it as a passing fad or whimsy. Instead, it has touched on the lives of an increasing number of people around the world.

Hynek — From Sceptic to Believer
An expert in astronomy Hynek was employed as a consultant to Project Bluebook, the US Air Force’s official study of the UFO phenomenon. When a sighting report was received, Hynek’s role was essentially to suggest whether it might have been an astronomical body which the witness had seen instead.

He later acknowledged that his original views on the UFO topic were derisive. In his own words, he considered belief in UFOs to be a “mental aberration.” But Hynek’s views evolved over the years. As he was involved in more and more cases which seemed to defy simple explanation; as he encountered eye witnesses who were clearly professional persons of substance with no interest in self-publicity, Hynek came to consider the alternative: that there really was something very strange going on in our skies. As his conviction that there was an underlying reality to the UFO phenomenon grew, so too did his dissatisfaction with what he saw as Bluebook’s superficial and dismissive approach.

After Project Bluebook was wound up by the air force, Hynek continued his exploration of UFOs. He felt that the study of the phenomenon really had to be taken out of the “kook” ghetto and put on a serious scientific footing. He personally encountered many highly credentialled scientists who were happy to tell him privately of their interest and belief in UFOs, but would not dare utter the same sentiments in public for fear of losing credibility and damaging their career prospects. To help overcome the “sneer factor”, in 1973 Hynek established the Centre for UFO Studies in his native Chicago. It collected UFO sighting reports and started a scholarly journal — the Journal of UFO Studies — which still continues today. Close Encounters

Wow!

Here’s something you don’t hear everyday!

This is just great… and props to Orkojoker for the heads up via his thread over at ATS, where you can learn even more and get yourself a link to see Hynek featured as the “mystery guest” on a TV game show. Ha!

This audio documentary was released on vinyl (on vinyl!)  in 1978 featuring Dr. J. Allen Hynek, scientific adviser to Project Blue Book for more than 20 years.

The quality of the audio and recording is excellent – and it is really cool hearing the extensive first-hand witness testimonies throughout the production as well as listening to Hynek talk at length about UFOs.

I do certainly agree with Karl12’s note that “the part at 2:40 in the second video where Bill Pecha describes the UFO he and his family ran away from is pretty compelling stuff.” And thee are many more.

I was disappointed, however, that at the end of Part 6 it cuts off… in mid-sentence. Quite annoying… really… so why has the uploader not posted the clearly missing Part 7? I have seen this happen before, several times, with other YouTube presentations. Not liking that aspect of the YouTube phenomenon.

So, what are the odds of finding this on vinyl nowadays? Close to zilch, I’d say. Maybe eBay… sigh.

But what there is is remarkable and I am happy that it is there for us to learn from.

Peace.

South Korea seizes capsules containing powdered flesh of dead babies

The South Korean government revealed Monday that it recently seized thousands of capsules filled with the powdered flesh of dead babies. Reportedly, some people believe the powder has medicinal purposes and was created in northeastern China.

South Korea has reportedly been reluctant to criticize China directly over the incident, out of fears of creating diplomatic friction with the country. But the process by which the powder is allegedly created is one of the most disturbing stories imaginable.

According to the Korea Customs Service, the bodies of dead babies are chopped into small pieces and dried on stoves before being turned into powder. The customs officials have refused to say exactly where the babies come from or who is responsible for making the capsules.

China has already been in the spotlight over activist Chen Guangcheng, whose work involves protesting the government’s sterilization and forced abortion policies. It was recently reported that China is working to “soften“ its one-child policy slogans, though not the actual policy itself.

Last year, Chinese officials ordered an investigation into the manufacturing of drugs made from dead fetuses or newborn babies. Nonetheless, South Korean officials said in a statement they have discovered 35 smuggling attempts since last August, during which 17,450 capsules labeled as “stamina boosters” were discovered. Rather than containing any inherent medicinal properties, the capsules are said to contain dangerous bacteria and other harmful, unspecified ingredients.

Amazingly, none of the smugglers have been arrested in the various confiscations because the South Korean customs officials said the amounts of human flesh contained in the capsules were too small and were not intended for direct sale. The smugglers claimed to have no knowledge of the human flesh content, saying they believed the capsules were ordinary stamina-boosting pills.

I have known for a long time that the perceptions held by the Chinese and apparently Asia at large are radically different from the perceptions and views I am familiar with and that human life does not have quite the same meaning or value.

But this is… repulsive.

And no one is going to be arrested. Of this I am quite certain.

Some of this profoundly ignorant belief in the magical properties of various substances was touched on in my post long ago on the extraction of bodily fluids from bears under conditions such that the bears were driven to commit suicide. Yes, bears. Asian “medicine” (read: superstition) also feels that if whatever they’re seeking is extracted while the creature is alive…  then it is even more powerful. Right. Ignorance!

Before my near-suicidal depression drives me to blustering foolishness, however, I’d best say right now that the superstition would appear to be not completely universal, seeing, obviously, as how the South Korean authorities did indeed confiscate these abominations, so, there is that. Which is good. But…

These Pills Are Made Out Of People!

Babies!

But we won’t mention the jaw-droppingly lame excuse given by the customs officials. Somewhat telling, isn’t it?

Odd… The weird and discounted Fortean story of the Dropa just popped itself up in the midst of trying to fathom how people could think that chopping up dead baby bodies into little pieces so theyd dry out faster is perfectly mundane.

Maybe they really ARE  aliens…

Creepy.

Peace.

UFOTV Presents: UFO Crash at Kecksburg – The Untold Story

Uploaded by on Nov 17, 2010

Many people believe the government is not telling the truth about its involvement in the retrieval of a crashed UFO in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania in 1965. If a UFO did crash from the sky, was it man-made, an alien spacecraft from another world, or was the story only a hoax? People who live in Kecksburg still wonder what it was that caused the military, police, and local firefighters to respond so quickly to this rural community.

Follow the events of December 9th, 1965, with UFO Investigator Stan Gordon as twenty-one witnesses describe what they saw, the news medias involvement and the military’s mysterious removal of a UFO to an unknown Air Force base where all traces of this event disappeared in secrecy.

[…]

It was nice to see this old film again.

Haven’t seen it in years nor thought about this event for a while, a good long while.

Kecksburg is pretty significant as far as these UFO things go, actually. Could even call it my generation’s Roswell.

If you’re not familiar with this happening, you will see why I say that after watching the vid.

And as such, it’s really quite strange that it hardly ever gets a mention in modern ufological circles.

Such as they are.

I mean, it’s got it all… befuddled witnesses, witnesses close enough to touch the thing, the Army, the Air Force, NASA dudes in hazmat suits carrying a flight case down to the scene… the military carting the thing off on a flatbed… and there are even some rather unpleasant occurrences that take place after the fact.

There was a restaurant, I think, that had a life size model made for display outside their shop. Wonder if it’s still there… should drive down there someday as I bet it still is.

It leaves me with renewed disappointment in our government and it’s agencies.

High strangeness all ‘round. Or not, I guess, as it is pretty much business as usual.

Sad. What are they so afraid of? Just tell us, for God’s sake. Jeez.

Anyway…

Peace.
