tyrauber Uploaded on Apr 26, 2011 One Actor, One Room, Seven Characters: 9/11. Traumatized by the September 11th attacks, one man struggles to dismantle official history, at the expense of his sanity and even his life. Grappling with multiple realities – and multiple personalities – he must retreat into his mind in pursuit of the truth. In a fictional film about non-fictional events, there is a place where belief and faith will blind you, where nothing is sacred, and to get there all you have to do is ask: “Who Killed John O’Neill?” a dead art film by ty rauber and ryan thurston a dead art film Producer & Director: Ty Rauber Writer & Performer: Ryan Thurston

Nicely done. Very nicely. It really draws you in and holds you. You will be gob-smacked at the amount of information presented herein. It is probably the most comprehensive review of the situation that I have ever seen. It does not go into the specifics of what happened on the day – and that is a good thing. What it does is review the history of what took place before the event – and links them all together. And the depth of that history is going to surprise you. The history revealed goes back as far as the late 50s and links to many events of the past, even the JFK assassination. It’s all connected. Connections, connections, connections. Indeed. The only thing I find odd is that the connection to a certain Middle Eastern “ally” is not mentioned at all. A bit disappointing, for on that day that whole rabbit hole opened up in stark horror. But, you know, “[They] were only there to document the event.” I would have really liked to see those connections included. Overall, I find this most excellent. If you watch it you will gain knowledge that few have. An amazing amount of research went into this; and it is all fact checkable. Enjoy. Peace

This is so different from other films I have seen… I had to share it!

North Korea lies somewhere between a 1930′s Soviet Union frozen in time and a dark, futuristic vision of society… as imagined back in the 70′s.

“Land of Whispers” invites you to visit arguably the most unique and isolated travel destination in the world – not to criticize, but to observe and listen. Aside from usual highlights such as Pyongyang or Arirang, this unique one-man documentary brings you to areas such as Chongjin or Wonson, still virtually unknown to even google or wikipedia. There, I attempt to pierce through the ever-present ‘national mythology’ and as much as possible, I try to connect with people – such as the waitress mesmerized by tablet computers, or a tour guide cautiously fascinated by modern pop culture.

Nice film, dude!

As regulars might imagine, I watch a lot of films about North Korea. Well… this fellow has managed to do something that I’ve never seen done before in any significant way… and that is to truly engage with and stimulate feelings of friendship and wonder in North Korean people. That… is cool.

One of those people is a member of the official team of government “tour guides.” It got to the point where the guide nearly gets himself into trouble. Impressive, that… an achievement, surely.

Perhaps the filmmaker’s cleverly arranged cover as a videographer making a travel film for the agency arranging the trip, well known to the authorities, helped a great deal. Actually I’m pretty sure it did, as he’d then rank at least a notch above a more standard “tourist.”

The decidedly non-standard outlook taken throughout the journey, combined with a personal quest for truth likely plays the most important role of all, however.

Well… Bravo and all that!

Peace.

This program profiles the mission of Apollo 16, and presents FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME interviews with ALL THREE astronauts who went on that mission, Commander John Young, Lunar Module Pilot Charlie Duke, and Command Module Pilot TK Mattingly. Apollo 16: The Men, Moon and Memories is an engaging, unique, and definitive one-hour documentary, looking at this historic mission through the eyes of those who participated in it.

The successful Apollo 16 Manned Lunar Landing Mission was the second in a series of three science-oriented missions planned for the Apollo program. The major objective of the mission was to investigate the largest area ever covered of the lunar surface thanks to the newly created Lunar Rover which gave the Astronauts the ability to cover miles of turain in a short amount of time.

This film is really quite nicely done.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I clicked on it since it was from a UFO-related site, which, to be frank, often means trouble, but once it started, I couldn’t stop watching it.

It was a nice feeling and a refreshing surprise.

Gosh, there are so many stories contained within; fabulous footage from before, during and after the mission; personal recollections galore, great insights and even a few funny stories… most if not all of which I had never heard before… I assure you that you will not regret watching this movie.

Enjoy and Peace.

It has begun.

Rod Serling! WoOt!

I love Rod Serling. His awesome imagination and exceptional creativity played a very large part in shaping my mind. For that I am grateful to him. The Twilight Zone… Rocks!

And here he is… narrating this rather well done UFO documentary, infusing it with his inimitable style. Not only that, it also features Dr. Jacques Vallee; and two other very nice people, Mr. José Ferrer and… Mr. Burgess Meredith! Whee! How cool is that?

The film was originally released in 1974 as UFOs: Past, Present and Future with Rod narrating. It won a Golden Globe Award. This is the updated version released in 1979 with the new title. I do not know what the ‘update’ consisted of, however, as I have not seen it. Hadn’t seen this one before, either, actually, until last night via a thread by Karl 12.

The film was produced by Allan F. Sandler, directed by Ray Rivas and written by well known UFO researcher Robert Emenegger, who also composed the musical score.

There is a treasure trove of rarely, if ever, seen historical footage and interviews with some significant individuals and witnesses. It is long, but if you have an interest in this subject it is decidedly worth the watch.

It is said that there was US Government co-operation in the production of this film… and that claim is evidenced by the inclusion of interesting interview footage filmed inside the Pentagon. That interview is with Colonel Bill Coleman, Chief of Public Information for the US Air Force from 1969 to 1974.

Well, now. I have heard as may you have, too, of cases where official help is offered as a lure of some sort, perhaps and then reneged on. It may just be that the reneging was not fully implemented in the case of Mr. Emenegger.

From this fine page at Ron Schmidt’s Pegasus Research Consortium site, we note this, quoted thereon, from here

The Holloman AFB UFO landing event was featured in Robert Emenegger’s/Alan Sandler’s 1974 documentary ‘UFO’s: Past, Present and Future’, and in an updated 1979 version ‘UFOs: It Has Begun’. These documentaries were both narrated by Rod Serling. Towards the end of the documentary, a ‘what if’ scenario was presented to the viewer about a landing that could happen in the future, or perhaps already could have happened…

“Let us look at an incident that might happen in the future, or perhaps could have happened already. The premise is that contact is made by extraterrestrial beings with representatives of the United States Air Force at Holloman Air Force Base in the deserts of New Mexico.”

Rod Serling goes on to narrate the Holloman landing event which consisted of illustrations of the landing and the aliens meeting Air Force officials. These illustrations were inter-cut with actual footage from the base. At one point in the re-enactment there is footage of a strange white-yellowish object descending towards the base, with the mountains in the background (some people have suggested it is part of the authentic UFO landing tape that slipped though).

From a 2005 pdf file by Steve Johnson giving a blow-by-blow description of the film we read this…

It is said that the producers of the film were promised unprecedented cooperation from the US military, and the inclusion of many military reports and interviews seems to confirm that suggestion. It is also said that actual footage from a real incident at Holloman AFB would be provided to them and that this would be used as the startling finale to the programme. Unfortunately, it seems the authorities got cold feet and we ended up with some hastily-prepared footage and artwork. But was it all a fiction? During the segment, we are shown a bright light descending towards the desert. Is this a real UFO, or just an out-of-focus aircraft coming in to land?

Why are specific names used, exact times and usage of precise amounts of film? What is the King One area at Holloman AFB? Apparently, in the novelisation of the film, the King One area is described as being on Mars Street in Building 930. I have been unable as yet to find a plan of the AFB with Mars Street or Building 930 noted.

And from an article (in pdf) called A History of Government Management of UFO Perceptions through Film and Television, we read…

There was more comprehensive, high-level cooperation from the DoD for the production of one particularly unusual film, though – the documentary, UFOs: Past, Present and Future (1974), which considered the extra-terrestrial hypothesis in a much more serious light. The film’s director, Robert Emenegger, was given unprecedented access to DoD facilities, including the highly sensitive Holloman Air Force Base and the Pentagon itself. “The Secretary of the Air Force [Robert Seamans] gave the order to co-operate,” explained the director, who was granted time with highranking military officers apparently well-versed in UFO-related matters, among them Colonel William Coleman, a former spokesman for Project Blue Book, and Colonel George Weinbrenner, then head of Foreign Technology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

The film even included a detailed reconstruction of what Emenegger claims the USAF told him was a real extraterrestrial landing at Holloman Air Force Base in 1971, complete with artistic renderings of the alleged aliens.

The USAF even provided Emenegger with a few seconds of footage showing what appeared to be an unusual, bright object descending slowly and vertically over the base. These frames, Emenegger claims, were taken from the “genuine” alien landing footage and officially authorised for use in his completed documentary, which, in line with a 49th Parallel, Vol. 25 (Spring 2011) Graham & Alford ISSN: 1753-5794 (online) 14 recommendation by the USAF, presented the incident as “one that might happen in the future – or perhaps could have happened already.”74 Emenegger claims that he was approached by the USAF to initiate this project, which would be in line with his scholarly interest in propaganda, his history as a Vice President at Grey Advertising, and his personal involvement in the Nixon Campaign to Re-Elect the President (CREEP).75 The film also received support from the Army, the Navy and NASA, with the latter furnishing Emenegger’s production with previously unreleased photographs of what appeared to be UFOs taken in space by Gemini astronauts..

Fascinating!

Seems legit, too, at least to this tired mind.

Oh, by the way, here is Angelia Joiner’s Interview with Robert Emenegger at the 2008 X-Conference.

I dunno… I love this stuff. Maybe someday I’ll even go so far as to write up my own sightings…

Anyway, enjoy!

Peace.

Documentary on the secretive existence inside North Korea. This video has been uploaded to YouTube for research and educational purposes.

I haven’t done a North Korea post in a while. Regulars will be aware of my deep loathing of the place. It is freakish, bizarre and unbelievably cruel. Hundreds of thousands of it’s citizens live in concentration camps.

Yes, real live concentration camps that’d make the SS blush, and if they looked real close, throw up. There they produce much of the country’s goods, food and mining wealth. None of which the population at large gets to enjoy.

This is a good documentary. It features lots of raw footage smuggled out of the country by some seriously brave people. Some of whom smuggle material from the outside world back in, which is arguably even more brave.

But it is a most noble gesture, as the populace is gradually becoming aware that there is a world outside their border. And that that world is the good one. North Koreans as a rule are not allowed access to the outside. If caught… you’re in one of those concentration camps along with three generations of your family. Usually for life.

Of course only the lucky ones get to see the DVDs and tapes smuggled in, as electricity is an exceptionally rare thing in North Korea. But they see it… and they will whisper it to their friends. And that is good.

Now while it is true that Kim Jong Il is dead and there is a new leader, the Western-educated Kim Jong-un, in command, there has been no evidence whatsoever that there has been any improvement at all in any of of the conditions that you will view in this film. I would dare venture that things have actually gotten worse for the people since this film was made.

That is so sad.

Pray for the people.

Peace.

Nice. Very nice.

Kudos and props to britoca, the uploader, for finding, stabilizing and sharing this footage.

Being so distracted lately I don’t remember seeing this clip, although I surely must have at some point, but, hey, here it is now and that’s what counts.

Peace.

This is so weird. Seriously. As I watched this film, I experienced the strangest contradictory feelings.

That is because this is obviously a North Korean government production, or at the least made by some entity closely aligned and I don’t know who that might be, unless it’s this Sabine character (who is quite likely a NK government agent) so I am sticking with government made propaganda… The production values are quite high and it is rather well made.

As we all know, the DPRK is the most repressive country on Earth and treats the people unfortunate enough to live there as slaves, yes, prisoners, even, in freakishly bizarre conditions decidedly difficult for we the civilized to imagine living through.

The people are akin to automatons, not of their own choosing, but because they have been trained from birth in doctrines of superiority and to worship whichever Dear Leader holds the throne as a superhuman God. They know no other reality.

So the thing is, the majority of the information presented is simply spot on, as anyone who has done any looking into the realities of our Western society and culture will clearly recognize.

There are also a few blatant untruths contained within as I’m sure you will notice, as well. And what is said of the Australian people frankly pissed me right the f7^k off.

All this is presented by a ‘professor’ of some sort who is clearly a government spokesman himself. I find it quite amusing that his face is blurred, given the context of his glorification of the leader, a man directly responsible for the deaths of millions of his own people, many through the most heinous system of punishment yet devised by man. It’s incredible. Seriously. And I had to keep watching it. So strange.

In the description it’s said the film is not for internal consumption. Well, duh. Only those priviledged enough to be allowed to live in Pyongyang have regular television, assuming the sporadic electrical supply is operational, which is usually not happening. The rest of the country has basically none. Additionally, it would not be a good idea to let the prisoners, I mean population, see any glimpses of anything available outside their jail, er, country. Remember, this is a country where you need a permit to visit relatives across town, a country where you can not go to the beach, a country where something as small as inadvertently sitting on a state newspaper with a picture of the leader facing upwards will get you either shot dead in a public display or a lifetime sentence in a concentration camp.

This is such a strange and accurate, for the most part, presentation of the evil we here live under – given by what amounts to the most evil and frightening place on this earth. It is, in a word, hypocrisy… of the highest order.

Here is the formal statement I gave to Federal Police on 16 June 2012:

On a trip to visit family in Seoul in April, I was approached by a man and a woman who claimed to be North Korean defectors. They presented me with a DVD that recently came into their possession and asked me to translate it. They also asked me to post the completed film on the Internet so that it could reach a worldwide audience. I believed what I was told and an agreement was made to protect their identities (and mine).

Despite my concerns about what I was viewing when I returned home, I proceeded to translate and post the film on You Tube because of the film’s extraordinary content. I have now made public my belief that this film was never intended for a domestic audience in the DPRK. Instead, I believe that these people, who presented themselves as ‘defectors’ specifically targeted me because of my reputation as a translator and interpreter.

Furthermore, I now believe these people work for the DPRK. The fact that I have continued to translate and post the film in spite of this belief does not make me complicit in their intention to spread their ideology. I chose to keep posting this film because – regardless of who made it – I believe people should see it because of the issues it raises and I stand by my right to post it for people to share and discuss freely with each other.

Sabine

I have translated this film, laid in the English voice over and subtitles, and on legal advice have blurred the identity of the presenter and/or blacked out certain elements.

I, Pet Goat II – Heliofant

Published on Jul 1, 2012 by

I had no part in making this video nor am I associated with the production company. It was brought to my attention that Youtube has removed it for unspecified reasons. I am sure there were reasons they or those who control them wished it not be viewed by the public. Screw Zio-Youtube and all the controllers who want to suppress the freedom of expression.

I have had to watch this multiple times to catch all of the amazing symbolism. Please watch and share.

Video can also be viewed here- http://vimeo.com/44583147

Details about I, Pet Goat II- http://www.heliofant.com/gallery.html

More about Heliofant- http://www.heliofant.com/heliofant.html

As I type this I have seen this only once, which in this case is highly unusual. But I was so struck by it that I needed to post it here toot suite. Must watch this again, in full screen HD. And several times. There is just so much symbolism. It has pretty much everything squeezed into these minutes. (9/11, Bush, Obama, sheep, Alice, religion and Jesus. Jeezus! You’ll see… And the 3D animation is simply superb! Serious goodness. Serious.

So, who made this thing? From the Heliofant website:

Based in the beautiful Laurentian mountains just north of Montreal, Canada, Heliofant is a nascent independent computer animation studio focused on creating experimental and challenging content. Bringing together artists from the fields of dance, music, computer animation and visual arts, the company is very interested in exploring the common ground that underlies many spiritual and philosophical traditions in a lyrical form.

There is so much packed in here, as I was saying. Sorry :) To get an idea of the scope of it before you watch, have a gander at this listing from kaoticf8 of ATS (where I found this) who found that a commenter on this video compiled a list of the scenes shown within…

One person in the comments described the whole video as this :

Goat with barcode on forehead in detention camp that looks like a sports venue (notice the lights)
puppetmaster with bloody hands who rules the money ( notice the dollar symbol ring
Bush depicted as a dunce in a classroom on 9/11 entertaining the crowd
Map to the left marks perpetrated disasters marked:
Oklahoma City bombing
New York 9/11
Louisiana (Katrina) not the storm, but the aftermath and the lack of expediency
gulf oil spill also depicted later in video
above is the owl of course

on the chalk board:
1. the house is on fire
2. penis ejaculating?
3. Hangman on the verge of death and evolution is the answer
above this you see an evolution chart from fish to enlightened man
clock is at midnight
Bush babbles, goes blank seeming to be getting off sexually, flashes symbolic hand signs, then becomes possessed and in a Sheva style transitions into Obama the enlightened one who is enamored with himself.

Virginal Alice/Eve is encircled by what seems to be seminal fluid which is splattered on floor outside of circle and on wall to the left by the deer; notice that the people forms are detained by barbwire and in the background there is a way out that has a red glow to it. The virgin gives up the apple (knowledge of good and evil) and as it roll through Oz to him he is worried. Notice that Obama’s shoe is on top of a coin with what appears to be either the tree of life or an olive tree

The scene changes to outside where we see Psalm 23 written on the wall, the clock tower is at midnight, half of the U.S. Flag is floating away symbolizing that the nation is divided, and what appears to be a major weather event like global cooling instead of global warming. The two towers on the right are falling depicting 9/11, sad faced people are committing suicide. Then the false jesus in an Egyptian boat (this could be the muslim caliphate the Egyptians are talking about)
You see an oil drill in the background and what appears to be an oil disaster in the foreground. The statue of liberty is standing on top of the star of David (Israel) causing her to loose her torch which use to light the world.

Gene manipulation technology
In the mind-controled guy’s eyes you see ‘market plunges’
You see stealth bombers made in the image of a masonic symbol bombing a head with horns around it and a mosque on it is destroyed by the worlds bombers
The fake virgin Mary is crying over the dead body of a baby jesus, who has a black and is dead, with a nuclear explosion in the background. Those who have been raised to fight for evil are having the ribbon removed to be unveiled. The worker of the real God who has the hammer and the reapers sickle is drowning in the mess Peace Peace, but there was no peace

The fake jesus is in a trance with the eye of Ra on his forehead and a mystic halo appears as an angel of light bringing false light to peoples inner-beings. We see the hand of Allah visiting what the Muslin consider the whore (Christians) and the fake jesus bringing judgment on them, after which the the Muslim is resurrected out of the destroyed mosque.

You have this dancing figure throughout the video changing its masks to falsely represent what the different religions want to see.

After the fake jesus departs the building with the cross and the devil figure over the door, you realize it was the church that he has destroyed. He then come out of his trance and the fake crown of thorns disappears.

Pretty crazy video i must admit

Unbelievably rich in so many ways. If you go over to YT you’ll see that it has spawned a little cottage industry of videos all trying to explain it. Pretty nice work.

Enjoy, and…

Peace.

This came barreling in the other day… and having a fair bit of animation experience, I simply had to find out what this was all about.

No Bolexes or registration pins in sight or involved… and, rather excitingly, I should say – none needed.

Imagine you’re in a deep, dark cave… lit only by torches and fire pits; the smoke, the flickering light… perhaps some herbal assistance for extra oomph… top it off with some exceptionally clever art.

Wa La!

Movies, baby, movies.

Gaze upon these and dig it…

For perspective… and an enlightened bit of alignment for the mind, here is a film by a great director, filmmaker Werner Herzog, shot in France’s famous Chauvet Cave. I recommend watching it! The film and the subject matter are so inspiring… makes me feel proud to be human.

Cave Of Forgotten Dreams (2010)
Narrated and directed by Werner Herzog

Contemplative and reflective, Cave of Forgotten Dreams confirms Werner Herzog as one of the finest and most original chroniclers of the natural world. His abiding fascination with flight, which fueled films like Little Dieter Needs to Fly and White Diamond, finds counterpoint here as he goes below ground to document the oldest paintings known to man. Discovered in 1994, France’s Chauvet Cave offers a privileged insight into another time and place. While the walls feature artwork from over 30,000 years ago, ancient animal bones cover the ground, and layers of sparkly calcite coat every surface (paleontologists believe humans never actually lived there). In his narration, Herzog explains that he and his crew had to obtain special permission, could only shoot for a few hours during specific seasons, and couldn’t leave the designated walkways, so cinematographer Peter Zeitlinger (Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans) attached a camera to a stick to capture the painting of a minotaur and a woman that adorns a prominent outcropping.

UFOTV Presents: UFO Crash at Kecksburg – The Untold Story

Uploaded by on Nov 17, 2010

Many people believe the government is not telling the truth about its involvement in the retrieval of a crashed UFO in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania in 1965. If a UFO did crash from the sky, was it man-made, an alien spacecraft from another world, or was the story only a hoax? People who live in Kecksburg still wonder what it was that caused the military, police, and local firefighters to respond so quickly to this rural community.

Follow the events of December 9th, 1965, with UFO Investigator Stan Gordon as twenty-one witnesses describe what they saw, the news medias involvement and the military’s mysterious removal of a UFO to an unknown Air Force base where all traces of this event disappeared in secrecy.

[…]

It was nice to see this old film again.

Haven’t seen it in years nor thought about this event for a while, a good long while.

Kecksburg is pretty significant as far as these UFO things go, actually. Could even call it my generation’s Roswell.

If you’re not familiar with this happening, you will see why I say that after watching the vid.

And as such, it’s really quite strange that it hardly ever gets a mention in modern ufological circles.

Such as they are.

I mean, it’s got it all… befuddled witnesses, witnesses close enough to touch the thing, the Army, the Air Force, NASA dudes in hazmat suits carrying a flight case down to the scene… the military carting the thing off on a flatbed… and there are even some rather unpleasant occurrences that take place after the fact.

There was a restaurant, I think, that had a life size model made for display outside their shop. Wonder if it’s still there… should drive down there someday as I bet it still is.

It leaves me with renewed disappointment in our government and it’s agencies.

High strangeness all ‘round. Or not, I guess, as it is pretty much business as usual.

Sad. What are they so afraid of? Just tell us, for God’s sake. Jeez.

Anyway…

Peace.

Sweet.

This lovely musical message was first brought to my attention on my ATS profile a couple of years ago by my good friend John, aka SLAYER69 when he sent it as a ‘Christmas card.’

Someone said it is a song of the Mohicans, but I do not know that for sure.

I am agonizing over the immediate fate of someone very, very dear to my heart… and playing this again gave me a bit of peace.

And since it is  in fact a lovely message… I am sharing it with you. Maybe it will have the same effect.

They called them “Spaghetti Westerns.” Never liked that term, hated it really, for more reason than it’s offense to my half-Italian blood, as these films, all of them, seemed to me then… and now… to be a hell of a lot more real  than mainstream Hollywood’s stylized, sanitized fare — and Mr. Eastwood, well, folks, Mr. Eastwood is a personal hero to me – on many  levels.

I’d meant to post this when it happened but was very tired and didn’t want to have a North Korean overload here at WATT.  Which, as regular readers know, is an ever-present danger. Hehe. So, I went to bed.

What happened was… shortly after posting this thread, wherein I mentioned a boyish fantasy of flying a fighter plane and blowing up some really nasty folk’s personal stuff, I was casually looking at a couple of other ‘related videos’… and this  appeared.

Now, I don’t believe in coincidences, you see… as everything is connected.

Just thought it was a mighty strange one.

An interesting piece of history.

I worked for many years alongside one of the men that was flown out of that hell on the medi-ships, the dear man known as John Lionetti. Lots of memories, although we never really spoke of the war. Was very nice to think of him again.

Peace.

Unidentified-crop1 - WTF is this?!

This picture was made in 1954. I cropped it in Photoshop from the frame below, which is a screen capture from the first video shown below  It has bicubic smoothing and auto levels and contrast, so you know. Lazy me. No filters on the full frame one. Click ‘em for the original size.

The clip in question is apparently an Air Force film taken in 1954 over Sierra Nevada, California. It is shockingly short. One would think, as is oft mentioned, that if you were to actually see something like this outside the window of your seat on the plane; and you have a movie camera, which you’ve started, that you might think it’d be a great idea to film as much of it as you can, for as long as you.

Right?

Wouldn’t you?

Really?

But, no, we get about 3 seconds.

Anyway, so far, for me, this is the most fascinating clip – by far. I want to know what that thing is. It’s as simple as that.

Looks a bit too ‘solid’ to be a plasma critter, but I know not what such beings can do. Maybe it’s a regular critter of some unfathomable genus. Doesn’t bring forth any thoughts of a machine of some sort. Looks ‘wrong’ for a probe…

Fascinating.

Unidentified. Yes, it certainly is.

What in the hell is that?

I found and singled it out of this monumental video compilation made back in the day by Michael Hesemann which a friend of mine participated in. Epic in length, this film has just about every film made from the 1950s up to 1998, from all over the world. You will see hours upon hours of short streaming clips and listen to them being examined on the fly by two expert commentators. It is a fabulous guided tour of things seen in the sky. There is no dogma to speak of presented here, either and that alone gives the film a refreshing (and these days, sadly rare) quality.

I saw this back then, but that was a long time ago and it surely is nice to run across it again… and to be able to download it.

UFOs The Footage Archives – 50 Years of UFOs – Part1 (Michael Hesemann)

I didn’t know this was on YouTube, as I don’t often look for any UFO stuff there, as everything I seem to see there, for a long tine, now is just silly, so… I was pleased to learn of it at ATS. Brought back great memories of what unfortunately seems more and more like a long time ago, so I replied. Here’s most of what I said there. (A rare thing, these days, sadly.)

ats avatarI can say that this film “happened” pretty much as your mind’s eye envisions, as one of the commentators is a personal friend, Antonio Huneeus, who together with his bud, Peter Robbins, watched these movies and talked… pretty much as you see it.

Ah, man, those were the days, eh? Don’t think we’ll see it’s like ever again.

But, then again, both gentlemen are still active in the UFO field, and probably Hesemann, too, so…

As to what they are… some of my speculations anthropomorphize things a bit, although I’m a plasma critter guy at heart for many. Maybe your ‘friend,’ is one of those too… curious ‘kid,’ perhaps. Or somebody’s probe.

Ha! Who knows.

Thanks again.

I will endeavor to write more. Not meaning post count, either.

Peace.

Journey.

Film: Aaron Leaman
Sound Track: The Living Sleep

Additional Footage: http://kuroiso.org/

Nice, Aaron, very nice! I think it’s beautiful. The cinematography, post, editing and score are all just wonderful and so smooth.

Sadness upon sadness – and then the long, forlorn journey to recapture and rebuild the spirit, the soul even — in the end finding, finally, happiness and purpose.

That’s my take on it. Those are the feelings that this short film invokes in my heart and in my mind.

How about you?

Read other people’s comments on this film over at Aaron’s blog.

I await Chapter 2…

Peace.

This is a trailer for what looks to be a very important film by Bertram Verhaag of Denkmal Film called Scientists under Attack – Genetic engineering in the magnetic field of money. The film’s website is www.ScientistsUnderAttack.com.

Eager to see it, I am, I am!

A nice big hat tip to my great friend Skylaire Alfvegren for passing this along this heads up.

And now…

To add another meaty bit to this thread, here are three videos, secretly recorded by Occupy Monsanto at the 2012 closed-door Monsanto shareholder meeting.

If you would, please visit the site of Occupy Monsanto. This group is taking action. They currently have a plan. From their site:

This is a Call to Action for a Non-Hierarchical Occupation of Monsanto Everywhere

Whether you like it or not, chances are Monsanto contaminated the food you ate today with chemicals and GMOs. Monsanto controls much of the world’s food supply at the expense of food democracy worldwide. This site is dedicated to empowering citizens of the world to take action against Monsanto on September 17th, 2012.

All I can say is that we all need to take this stuff very seriously, dear readers. We are talking about our food. All of our food. What can possibly be more critical an issue than that?

I love Doug Kershaw. Seriously. I have listened to his music since I was a little boy.

I had been introduced to it way back when by my cousin Bobby. It’s kind of a part of me. Cajun music in general, too, thanks to Mr. Kershaw and Bob.

And as such it should be considered a very strange thing that I’d not heard of the 1971 movie this clip is from, so it was a pleasure to find this. I hope you like it. If you do, you are a step closer to understanding.

Zachariah meets the strange fiddler.

Hey, now, look at this…

YouTube has also provided the tune in its entirety. This is from the soundtrack album.

Pay no attention to the visual. Weird. Why would someone do that? Did I say weird?

Anyway, this is very much a Doug Kershaw song…

Rare fiddle track from Doug Kershaw from the movie Zacharia. Different than in the movie.

The concert poster has nothing to do with the song or Doug Kershaw.

This trailer looks pretty damn fine, I must say! It’ll be out pretty soon and I hope I get to see it someday. That this film will be good is a given as it is directed by Dennis Peters, a rather successful old film school classmate of mine along with his Heavybag Media company. How cool is that?

Man… a feature film… that sort of thing is just a dream (pipe?) for this guy. Damn! Kudos to ya, sir!

Interesting times they were… those oftentimes strange days at the University of Bridgeport’s film department. Ahh, yes, twirling Nagra knobs and Angenieux focus rings… there were some great moments back then. Anyway, on to the greatness at hand…

The film I’m Not Adam is a psychological thriller about discovering who you really are. The Talking Heads song, Once in a Lifetime, was a big influence in creating the story for this film. This ode to existentialism written by David Byrne and Brian Eno is a brilliant work depicting the self-examination of life. David Byrne sings, “Who are you? And How did you get here?” The song explores being a conscious person.

Film Synopsis
I’m Not Adam is a feature length story about an everyday ordinary guy who is mistaken for a celebrity that someone is out to kill. He is pursued through the streets and back alleys of a nightmarish downtown, encountering strangers who have a mysterious connection to him. His only chance for surviving the night is to find his famous look-alike.

The film is directed by Dennis Peters.

Many great works such as the films of David Lynch influenced I’m Not Adam. Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway and Inland Empire explore the existential nature of life. The themes deal with the blurring of perception, reality and illusion. Being conscious and questioning who you are is often a central theme in Lynch’s films.

I think David Lynch is at the forefront of existentialist directors but many have explored the themes of personal identity, self-examination, and self-actualization. Other directors that were influential in helping shape the film include Stanley Kubrick, 2001 (my interpretation of the film is that Kubrick was saying no matter what we think we may achieve in life all we ever really do is eat, shit, fuck and die) Woody Allen’s film Love and Death, David Fincher Fight Club, and Terry Gilliam, The Life of Brian which is one of my favorites from the Monty Python guys.

There were a few philosophers that I referenced in crafting the story including the existentialist writings of John Paul Sartre and his thoughts on life and death and how existence comes before the meaning.
Carl Jung philosophy and writings about consciousness and the anima helped shape the characters in the film, especially the female ones.

In addition to Nietzsche, of course and Kierkegaard there is Albert Camus, most famous for his Myth of Sisyphus book. He was also instrumental in shaping the themes of the film. Camus’ absurdist philosophy states that the difference between the way life is and the way it should be defines the absurd.
