One of the

greatest secrets

of life

is having both

…via my dad. Thanks, Ig.

  1. omg, a little stinker. I was living in Apple Valley, California and had a dog. We had nothing but desert completely around us so he would have a ball chasing jackrabbits.

One day my dog got very, very sick and I took him to the vet. It turned out that he had tapeworm. $32.00 a pill – yikes! Had to buy three of them. :) I told the doc that he chases jackrabbits and the doc said nope, it’s not a rabbit, probably a skunk and he named off a few others.

Anyway, back to the desert. My daughter and I were cutting a path to the store through the desert (with the dog) and he kept fighting us with the leash wanting to go to the left instead of straight. So we let him have his way to see what he was up to and he marched us over to the grosses looking dead skunk you’ve ever seen. He had previously eaten from it and just wanted to return to eat more. NOT for $32.00 a pill he won’t. lol

  2. I love that log cabin structure there. Is that your dad’s home?

Nah, it’s just a net pic from somewhere that his buddy sent him. He lives in a conventional house, but he does have a black bear living just off the backyard, so that’s pretty cool. Saw it once…

  3. I like log cabins a lot. When I lived in So. Cal it was a nice weekend to go to Big Bear Lake and stay in one. Well, one time it wasn’t too much fun. Just got married – all of 18 years old. Drove from LV to Big Bear where the temp was below freezing. I got bronchitis in that cabin. Then again maybe it was the micro dot that gave me bronchitis in that cold weather lol who knows! he, he
